kanban

It is a practice that is part of agile methodologies, consisting of a framework that controls the flow of tasks, each step being:

  • “To do”, what will be done;
  • “In Progress”, tasks in progress;
  • “Done”, completed activities.

This way, the control becomes visual, as each task is divided into cards, and they will be in their corresponding stage, being changed by the collaborator himself, and therefore it is possible to identify how long the card was in each stage and measure the team's capacity.

5W2H

It is a methodology that consists of 7 questions, when they are written in English they form the 5W2H :

  • What: what is in realization?
  • Why: why is it being made?
  • Where: where will it be held?
  • When: when will the delivery time be?
  • Who: who will be responsible for the project?
  • How: How will it be done?
  • How much: how much will it cost in the budget?

These questions summarize what will be done during the process, contributing to faster and easier monitoring of business management, thus making basic information more accessible and open to changes.

ERP

Enterprise Resource Planning is an integrated system or software for Enterprise Resource Planning, widely used in business management, which acts in the planning and reduction of bureaucratic processes that involve the corporate environment. That includes:

  • Accounting;
  • Management;
  • Finance;
  • Human Resources;
  • Inventory control;
  • Budgets;
  • Oversight.

PDCA

Also known as the Deming Cycle or PDCA cycle, it creates constancy in the realization of the project, with the PLAN–DO–CHECK–ACT meaning:

  • PLAN: plan;
  • DO: do;
  • CHECK: check;
  • ACT: act.

These 4 phases make up the project process stages so that it is carried out and delivered according to its execution cycle. Ensures that all stages are organized, requiring that things only be done after they are planned and that there is verification before each delivery and action to complete the work so that there are no reworks and no delivery failures.

What is the importance of improving business management?

The main factor in maintaining good practices in business management is being able to optimize time, save resources and create a schedule according to the team's capacity, so that deliveries are completed on time.

Following these practices, to avoid wasting time and overloading tasks, so that the team's productivity increases and quality remains, it is necessary to align time with execution, so it is possible to minimize the amount of rework and reduce bureaucratic processes.

In addition, employees are clear about what needs to be done, from start to finish, without losing information or causing delays and conflicts due to missing details.
